Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

Last updated: July 2026

MMF INVESTMENT is committed to operating with the highest standards of integrity and to complying with all applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations. This policy outlines our obligations, procedures, and your responsibilities as a user.

1. Purpose and Scope

This AML Policy applies to all users, transactions, and activities conducted through the MMF INVESTMENT platform. Its purpose is to prevent the platform from being used as a vehicle for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other financial crime. All staff and contracted parties are required to adhere to this policy.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC)

MMF INVESTMENT reserves the right to request identity verification from any user at any time. Verification may include, but is not limited to: a government-issued photo ID, proof of address (dated within the last 3 months), and documentation establishing the source of funds. Accounts that fail to provide requested documents may be suspended pending verification.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on MMF INVESTMENT and will result in immediate account termination and potential reporting to relevant authorities:

  • Depositing funds derived from illegal activities, fraud, or theft
  • Structuring deposits to avoid reporting thresholds (smurfing)
  • Using accounts of other persons to conceal the true beneficial owner
  • Any transaction or pattern of transactions indicative of money laundering
  • Providing false or misleading information during registration or KYC
  • Facilitating transactions on behalf of sanctioned individuals or entities

4. Transaction Monitoring

MMF INVESTMENT employs automated and manual transaction monitoring systems to detect unusual patterns. Transactions that trigger our risk thresholds are subject to enhanced due diligence, temporary holds, or referral to our compliance team for manual review. We reserve the right to delay or decline any transaction without prior notice if it raises AML concerns.

5. Sanctions Screening

All users are screened against international sanctions lists including, but not limited to, those maintained by OFAC, the UN Security Council, the EU, and FATF high-risk jurisdictions. Accounts linked to sanctioned individuals, entities, or geographic regions will be immediately suspended and reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Source of Funds

By depositing funds on MMF INVESTMENT, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are the beneficial owner of the funds; (b) the funds were obtained through lawful means; and (c) the transaction does not violate any law in your jurisdiction. We may request evidence of source of funds for deposits above certain thresholds.

7. Reporting Obligations

MMF INVESTMENT will co-operate fully with law enforcement agencies, financial intelligence units, and regulatory bodies. Where legally required, we will file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) or equivalent disclosures without notifying the subject of the report. We will not "tip off" individuals who are the subject of a regulatory investigation.

8. Record Keeping

All KYC documentation, transaction records, and AML-related correspondence are retained for a minimum of five (5) years in compliance with regulatory requirements. These records are stored securely and are accessible only to authorised compliance personnel.

9. Policy Review

This AML Policy is reviewed at least annually and updated as required to reflect changes in legislation, regulatory guidance, and evolving best practices in financial crime prevention. The most recent version is always published on this page.
